Rachel Kolbinsky Oliver is a highly skilled obstetrician and gynecologist with extensive experience in the medical field. She received her MD degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara in Guadalajara, México, and completed her residency at the Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, VA. Throughout her career, Oliver has worked in various healthcare settings, including hospitals and clinics, and is currently employed at OGA Women’s Health in Meridian, ID. She also serves as the Chair of the Department of Women’s and Children’s at St. Luke’s Nampa Medical Center and an Associate Professor at the WAMI School of Medicine, where she proctors medical students in OB/GYN core rotations. Oliver is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a member of several professional organizations, including the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. In her free time, she enjoys rowing, soccer, and teaching Spanish and basic sciences.

Meet Dr. Rachel Oliver

Rachel Oliver is an experienced obstetrician-gynecologist (OB/GYN) who is currently practicing at OGA Women’s Health in Meridian, Idaho. She has been affiliated with the St. Luke’s Health System in Boise, Meridian, and Nampa, Idaho, for several years, working as an OB hospitalist at Meridian and Nampa Medical Center, and as a gynecologist at Valor Health Medical Center in Emmett, Idaho.

Apart from her clinical practice, Dr. Oliver is also actively involved in medical education. She serves as an Associate Professor at the WAMI School of Medicine and has been proctoring medical students in the OB/GYN core rotation for the past few years. She has also been the Chair of the Department of Women’s and Children’s at St. Luke’s Nampa Medical Center since 2022.

Dr. Oliver completed her residency in OB/GYN at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, Virginia, where she was a Chief Administrative Resident in 2012-2013. She obtained her MD degree from the Mt. Sinai School of Medicine Fifth Pathway Program in New York, NY, and the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Dr. Oliver has received several honors and awards throughout her career, including the Excellence in Minimally Invasive Surgery Award and the Extraordinary Resident Award from the Riverside OB/GYN Department. She has also presented her research at various conferences, including the ACOG District IV-V Annual Meeting and the NY Perinatal Society Annual Scientific Meeting.

In addition to her professional achievements, Dr. Oliver has been recognized for her athletic and academic accomplishments. She was a NCAA Bronze Medal Winner in women’s rowing at the NCAA National Championships, and she was nominated for the NCAA Woman of the Year Award during her undergraduate studies at the University of North Carolina, where she earned a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in Chemistry.
